2.1.11- Second Post Placement Visit
12.27.10- Birth father's registry comes back clear!
12.22.10- First Post Placement Visit
12.9.10- Out of legal risk with birth mother!
11.23.10- J signs adoption consents
11.18.10- Get the call! Baby boy was born and birth mother J wants us to come meet him
11.8.10- Go back into Waiting Families Book
11.6.10- Notified about official Change of Heart
10.28.10- We leave hospital without baby
10.27.10- Baby boy is born. We find out M is having second thoughts
9.27.10- Write up Birthplan
9.17.10- Matched!
5.21.10- Adoption cards won us a free burrito
4.16.10- Turned in our profile for the Waiting Families Book
3.18.10 - Invitation to go into the Waiting Families Book
1.28.10 - Officially Home Study Approved! We are 6th on the waitlist to get into the book.
1.22.10 - Designated Outreach Class at LSS
1.7.10 - Rescheduled Home Study appointment with Rachel. There was a bad snowstorm and it took Rachel 2 ½ hours to get to our house!
12.28.09 - we cleaned the house top to bottom for our first home study appointment, but Rachel got sick that morning!
12.17.09 - our first meeting with Rachel at her office
12.11.09 - First phone call from our social worker Rachel
12.3.09 - 2 day IOA Educational Seminar at Agency
11.19.09 - Our file is opened! Dropped off all paperwork and payment
11.2.09- change program to Domestic Infant Open Adoption
10.28.09 - Decide on International Adoption with LSS- Colombia. Snail mail registration and initial payment
7.8.09 - Our first appt with Lutheran Social Services
6.26.09 - Individual Appt with Children’s Home Society about Adoption
6.2.09 - 1st Class on International/Domestic Adoption at Children’s Home Society
